Scientific infographic for Proteinleg

Research, conceptualisation, planning, illustration and design of a scientific infographic for Proteinleg, a supra-regional operational group dedicated to developing high-quality food proteins through the sustainable production and processing of legume crops.

The project was developed from technical information provided in a text document, together with photographs supplied by the art direction team at 119 Elements. This source material was analysed, organised and transformed into a clear, accessible and visually engaging narrative.

The infographic was conceived as an A3 poster for presentation at a technical conference attended by the research group. Its main purpose was to explain Proteinleg’s work and communicate the project’s characteristics, processes and benefits to a non-specialist audience.

To make the technical and scientific content easier to understand, a visual structure was designed to guide the reader and highlight the key messages. Bespoke illustrations, diagrams and charts were also created to transform the written information into more direct, educational and easily interpretable visual resources.

The design was carefully adapted to the visual identity created by 119 Elements for the project, respecting its colour palette, graphic language and other brand elements. As a result, the poster serves not only as a scientific communication tool, but also as a piece that is fully aligned with the research group’s broader communication strategy and visual positioning.
