Ecolec Foundation Sustainability Report
Editorial illustration for the Ecolec Foundation‘s sustainability report.
Serie of illustrations linking household appliances to plants. The illustrations were also to feature men and women. All of them were to convey the following idea: we can establish a respectful relationship between the environment and our electronic and electrical devices if we recycle them properly.
Since the Ecolec Foundation works around seven groups of waste electrical and electronic equipment based on their characteristics (small appliances, large appliances, lighting, etc.), I chose the appliances based on these seven categories. To emphasize the idea that people are solely responsible for the proper recycling of these devices, I set all the scenes in a family home.
I also illustrated the label for the “greenshops,” a Spanish network of environmentally committed stores with WEEE management obligations.
